rpm over 1000 is the code and yet the rpm is at a normal 600ish

replaced both cam shaft position sensors
replaced crank shaft position sensor
replaced sparkplugs
replaced the sparkplug wires
new distributor cap and rotors 40k agao along with timing belt
checked timiming belt and it is lined up correctly


what else would cause this problem?

 

have you reset the ecu to actually see if it goes away?

simply unhook the battery for a few minutes, then re attach...
