Can an fluid evacuator (oil extraction machine) be used to remove more than the two quart drain and fill amount?
I want to change all of my fluid .... not just the drain and fill. I am not much of a DIY mechanic and don't want to make a big mess trying to learn. What is the cheapest way to get my fluid changed other than multiple drain and fills?
Most transmission shops have a machine that hook up to the transmission oil cooler lines, and flush the fluid out that way. There isnt any other way to do a full "flush"... drain and fill it, run it for 500 miles, and do it again. Not much else you can do.
i hear you can use it for that purpose as well. go on amazon and read reviews for oil extractors, people mention in the comments what they have used it for and how well it worked. i am buying one for my oil changes.
