cant pull codes for some reason
for some reason i cant pull any codes from m7 92 sc400. engine light and trac/off lights are on. tried 2 different genisys scan tools and got nothing. the traction control being off was not fun this winter. and another thing which might be part of the problem is that the trac/off and engine lights come on about a minute or two after you turn the car on. and i can tell its right because id have good traction for about a minute in the snow then the light would come on then id get a little loose. is there another way to get codes? what could be the problem?
search the forums for the "paper clip" scan tool... you short two jumpers in the diagnostic port, and it flashes the codes on the dash... its posted numerous times here, so I won't repost...
