Default nothing electrical works

ok so last week i bought a 92 sc400 for 100$. the guy told me the engine was seized. when i went to pick up the car the windows where down. I asked him why they were like that he said thats the way the car died. It made no since what does the motor have to do with electrical stuff. So last night i went to experimenting with the car. i switched the battery out of my celica and put it in the lexus. nothing. the only thing i could get to turn on was the electronic compass on the rear view mirror. Im thinking i have a blown fuse somewhere. Any suggestions?

I figured out the problem. It was due to a blown alt fuse in the fuse box under the hood. 150amp fuse. 30$ at toyota

Start with the fuses/circuit breakers right at the battery terminal. From what you said this almost sounds very simple get the electrical going then see if it cranks over. You may be surprised that the engine is not bad at all.

I posted with you. Good Luck!!!
