I recently bought a 94 lexus es300 and new to these lexus'. So but heres my problem. I was driving and stopped at a red light and waiting to turn green when my car just shut off. I tried starting it but it just clicks. Battery is good and radio and window roll down and work and everything. I jumped it too but still just clicks. Im thinking it could be the starter.. But i also here its the fuel pump.. Can any one give me any help? Please

 

By click.. do you mean a single solid click when you turn the key, or multiple rapid clicks? If its a single solid click, id venture to say you have a bad starter. If not, then you likely have a voltage problem getting to the starter, bad battery, bad ground, etc. The bigger question is, why did the car simply die... a bad starter isnt going to make the car die... so id be looking at voltage issues.. battery, alternator, etc.
