Hey guys,

I need to have my 60k service and timing belt done soon on my SC300 and I DON'T want to take it into the dealership.

Anyone have any talented, trustworthy mechanics that know how to deal with Lexus in the area?

I understand the sparkplugs are very difficult to change on the 2JZ-GE and I'd like someone who'd let me watch them work.

I take mine to a place called Hiro's Auto in Costa Mesa. They do great work for good prices. Several of the guys were trained at Toyota in Japan and they only do Japanese cars. Been very happy with all the service I've received from them.

anyone in particular you recommend? do they do maintenace work only? or can they install some aftermarket stuff, like STB, TC, sways..etc,
