What do folks here consider the most useful type of ball-joint removal tool? Forks, C-clamp style, or the see-saw type pushers? I'm not specifically thinking of any particular joint, but I just changed my upper control arm and one of these would have really been useful.

just go to some autostore n rent their front chassis joint puller set or watever. should include everything u need return it when your done n get your money back
I've tried that a few times here in NJ and the shop owners have always staired at me with disbelief. But besides that, working on any car for me is always much more fun if I have decent tools - a couple of sets of snap-ons can take the edge off most otherwise boring jobs.
