hey guys i had a question i have a 1jzgte.. does it use the same oil filter as the usdm 2jzgte from the supra??? which one am i suppose to use?

 

ya its the same filter as a 2j, i also have a part number for a diffrnt filter that is longer toyota part #: 90915-yzzd3, it wrks fine and its bigger i used it on my 1j

 

thx bro!!! while im the subject of 1jz.. do u know if the power steering pump for the 2jzgte will fit on the 1jzgte.. mine is so messed up.. and i really haven't foudn much info on what to do to replace it.. i can't even rebuild the one i have

 

i replaced mine with an SC300 one, it wrk fine... it was a while ago but there might be a fitting that ull have to swap out from t he 1j pump or sumtin, nuthin crazy pretty str8 forward

 

sc300, sc400, jza80 na and tt. also another type of toyota all use same oil filter

The 2jzgte power steering pump does work, but the mounting holes are different.

You have 3 holes in the pump, but depending on what motor the holes you use are different and 1 will be slightly more narrow for some reason.

I had to drill out the 2jzgte hole to fit the 1jz mount bracket.
