Well for everything, i know its late, but thanks is thanks haha. The es went into the shop today, i'm paying 240 for new front brakes, they are changing everything, as to the thud noise, it was the sway bars, they are fixing it for 100 dollars, but they never said what was wrong with them, o well. I still have to get the timing belt changed. ive been gone on a golfing trip past week and dad and mom driving their own cars. Slowly but surely this car getting back to perfection

Default average cost for timing belt replacement

I have a '03 IS 300 with close to 95K miles. I took my car in to get an estimate for the 90K services, but my mechanic recommended that I also change the timing belt. He told me the timing belt was about $485 and the 90K service will be about $500. is that about right?

also, do you recommend that I get both of these done now? what's the priority?

I want to be proactive and maintain my car, but I'm a female and don't want to get ripped off or rushed into doing service that can wait or be spread out. please share your feedback.

Thanks!
