My LX470 is coming up on its 30,000 mile service. Tustin Lexus quoted me $800 for this service which which sounds very high for what they do. Is there any reason why I should not look for an independent Lexus service center that can do it for much less?

Can anybody recommend a good independent Lexus service center in the South Orange County area?

Any help is appreciated.

WOW , 800 . I just came back from my 30k but i own a GS 300 . It cost me 420 .

Do you have the 4x4 or AWD ? I wonder what extra work is done on your SUV that's not on my car ?

Try calling all lexus dealers in CA and see if they quote you the same price .

ask for Veronne...he is our "preferred" service consultant...very cool guy..takes care many cl guys' rides..tell him will send you..if time is of concern, longo will come to pick up your LX with a flatbed truck..and if you make appt in time, they will give you a loaner as well..
