I have a harness that has the code reader connector and the cluster connectors I am not sure but it may also have the head unit connectors on it. My question is what are the colors of the wires that would be ground and 12 volts? I have a cluster and head unit that need testing and hate the constant tearing down and remounting them back into the car. My car is a SC400 1992 automatic.

I wouldn't go tapping into that if possible... if you really just need to try it out prior to installing, run a 10' speaker cord from the battery to the radio...
