Default Thanks

Exactly what I have been looking for to cover the trunk mounted brake lights in my 2000 GS300. Paint them to match the car (pearl white??) and they only show up when braking.

Hi Willard. Let me know how it turns out and post some pics. I think I am going to do it since it is so cheap if I don't like it.

Thumbs down

Think about how much light gets through these things. If you cover your headlamps with this stuff, you may not be able to see well at night.

If you cover your tail lights, the guy behind you may not see your brake lights. I hope I am not the one who rams your rear bumper.

Brighter led bulbs would take care of that. Also, third brake light is still there. People should pay more attention when they drive and it wouldn't be a problem.

That is the same material used for paintball mask goggle skins. There are many holes in the material. When put up against your face you can see clearly.
