SC400 tranny fluid help.
Hey I have a 1993 SC400 and my tranny is leaking oil slowly from the pan. Now I've always driven a manual so my knowledge on automatic tranny's are limited. I bought the valvoline max life which is for toyota type 1 3 and 4 and the manual calls for type 2. Now i know that you can put type 4 in there gradually since its better. The dipstick is reading low, its not burnt, and when its hot its at the bottom of the stick. how do i put it in and know when its full. (Also when i checked the fluid the car was warmed up and i didn't go through all gears just P R N D from regular driving)
Sorry it took so long to get to the point.

You just need to add fluid with a funnel. You can do it while the car is already warm, just be sure to run through the gears real quick, and then check the fluid with the car running on park. If its still low, add more. And keep on going.
