I am trying to find a thread dealing with replacing the wiper motor on my 1991 LS400. I turned on the wipers when they were frozen to the windshield, heard a thunk and now they just move an inch up & down. I am not sure if the linkage has popped off or if the wiper motor shaft has lost it's staking. I really just need to know how to gain access to the wiper motor & transmission. If anyone can direct me to a thread dealing with that or post a how to, thanks in advance.

 

not sure what the cause really are, but i think its the linkage issue.
