Hi everyone,

My transmission is acting up. It's "racing" up in the RPM's and falling down too low as well. I know it is in need of a fluid change. It's at 123,000 miles.

Should I change the fluid and see if it helps or take it right to the shop?

I would definately check the fluid and see if its low and/or burnt. If its just low, you may be able to solve the problem. Likely though, you probably have a fried transmission.
