I have a 1994 es 300 factory call for type 2 trans fluid,can I use a better trans fluid when I drain and refill,I have 200K on her.

 

You can use Lexus Type T-IV or Amsoil which is T-IV compatible... Other manufacturers sell T-IV compatible fluids as well, but Amsoil has been considered the best OE replacement...

 

Your transmission calls for Dexron-2 fluid.. not T2 or T4. Drain and refill with Dextron 2 or compatible fluids. I beleive the replacement for Dextron 2 is now Dextron 3 or something like that. But stick to Dextron.
