I know that here in Florida foam products don't last long but I was curious as to whether anyone else has encountered this probelm, what part of the AC it is coming from, if it is a potential probelm down the road, etc.
I didn't realize why this was happening in my aerostar until the vacuum motor stopped working. Built a huge nest within the blower area and chewed the vfacuum line in two.
Happened to me too. No terrible worry. It's just the insulated foam they use were the plastic vents meet the inside blower assembly. The foam will dry out with age and begin to break loose. Mine did it for about a week and then quit.
