Hey Guys,

I have a 01 GS300, and this will be my first job replacing spark plug and wireset on a 6cylinder. I have only worked on 4 cylinder fords and hondas. But this one got me a bit confused I see some helpful posts on the plugs But my question is....... Do the wire set only come with three wires? or there suppose to be 6? Like i said, this is my first time changing this on this car, so i don't know much on it, so any info will be great!

 

You have 3 coil packs and 3 wires. One coil pack sit on top of one spark plug and the same coil pack distribute the power to fire another spark plug with spark plug wire. Don't remove the intake out,just remove the throttle body,but make sure you block the coolant hose behind the throttle body.
