I own a 1999 GS400 and i've noticed the centre instrusment cluster is always dimmer than the other two on the left and right.

Is there something wrong with my car, do i need to bring back to lexus for inspection.

 

Mine is like that too. Not too noticeable though.

 

It's on mine too....??? I'd like to find out if this is normal...

 

i have notice the same problem and went to the dealership and they told me that has to do with the sensor that they have on the window.?? which is okay when going through a tunnel or something, but as for the problem sometimes i notice different level of clearness between the three clusters..i am already on max setting.
