Default Dealer recommened MOC treatment.

I just had my 40K mile service done at the dealer on my 05/LS430. While they were doing the work, one of the service consulatants came to me & recommended I have this MOC service preformed while I was there. This is a four step process that 1.removes carbon 2. cleans fuel-injectors 3.cleans air intake & throttle body 4. fuel system cleaner. The charge is $190.00.

Has any one heard of this or had it done & did it help? I didn't let them do it because I wanted to see what any one here might have to say about it. This same dealer changed my son-in-laws brakes on his 05/LS430 at 20K miles which seemed early to me.

good treatment, but way pricey...

I do the same thing at our shop for $90, it takes about 45 minutes to do properly (And $15 worth of chemicals)

For $90.00 I probably would have had them do it. $190.00 seems a bit high. I'll check around & see if there are some independs that are closer to $100.00
