How often should I have my tires rotated?
And does the rotation pattern differ between a RWD LS400 and a FWD ES300?

And is it neccesary to have the tires balanced every time they're rotated?

I get mine rotated and balanced every 3 - 4K miles or 3 - 4 months which ever come first.........

I think that 4K miles will ensure a even wear on the tires... Many places offere life time balance/rotation service when you get it done once... Good Year, FireStone, Walmart/Sam's Club, Discount Tire(I think) and Some Car care clinics.....

 

I'm going to follow the interval recomended in the supplemental manual that came with the car - 5k
