I will be buying a couple of volumes of OEM repair manuals for my SC. My question is, what are "supplement" manuals and what are they good for? Is the repair manual "supplement" worth buying?

Don't know about your SC manuals, but my 02 GS manuals come in two (thick) volumes. Volume 1 is nothing but diagnostic procedures and diagnostic codes. I haven't used it. Volume 2 is what you'd call the "real" service manual with all exploded drawings, specs, and instructions. I'd have to presume that your supplement is the equivalent of my Volume 1. Hope this helps.
