Default replacing valve cover gaskets

does anybody know the part numbers for the front and rear valve cover gaskets for a 98 es300?

and is it just the gaskets that would need to be replaced or is there any other parts i should consider replacing?

thanks

I dont know the part numbers, but you should also replace the plenum gasket. The plenum has to come off in order to replace the bank 1 valve cover (near firewall).I would not rec. doing it yourself, unless you have a lot of mechanical knowledge.

what is the difference between a head gasket and a valve cover gasket?

which one will be the cause of visible oil leak on the front of the engine?

are gaskets for sell on ebay any reliable than ones sold at the dealer?

Head gasket goes in between the head and the engine block. The VC gasket goes inbetween the head and the valve covers.
