Wires, plugs, cap and rotor. Tranny fluid and rear diff fluid

Hey guys, I need some advice.

I have a 93 SC300 with a 5 speed - bought it a few weeks ago. 144k miles.

I'm planning to change out the plugs, wires, cap and rotor myself. Looks like the original owner never did this maintenance.
I'm also planning to change tranny and rear diff fluids.
By the way, I work on cars, so I don't think its a big deal for me to do this, although I've worked only on Mitsubishis before.

I've done a search on the items mentioned and come up with some information, not all of which applies to me - looks like most guys on this forum just go to the dealer and they're done with it.

Questions -
1) I see different varieties of plugs and wires out there online. What is the correct part number for the plugs and wires?

2) I don't want to pay the exorbitant cost for the dealer parts - is there a decent website (that is for real, not some scam) that I can get original Lexus parts from? Hopefully a site one of you guys have ordered parts from and been satisfied.
I found a site mentioned here (among many) - Is the following site reliable and do they have original Lexus parts, or are they just aftermarket?
http://lexus-parts.com/partlist.asp?...113&ModelID=68

3) What kind of tranny and rear diff fluids should I use? How many quarts for each?
(Please keep in mind that I am in Minnesota and I don't want to change tranny fuilds every six months to adjust for the weather. As a reference, I have a 11 sec quarter mile Talon AWD on which I use a ratio of 1:2 of Redline MTL and Redline MT90. The MTL is very thin and the MT90 is the all-weather blend. This mixture is thin enough to be pliable in winer and yet retains enough thickness to provide protection during the summer racing season).

Thanks a lot!

Tranny - 2.7?

Diff - 1.7?

I just start pouring in fluid until it can't take anymore.

for the rear diff, just keep filling it up untill it starts coming out of the fill hole. Should be just under 2 quarts.

for your manual tranny, use GL-4 only. Random reports of GL-5 fluid eating seals in trannys calling for GL-4. Apparently this doesnt matter for the diff. M1 is a GL-5.

I'd go with stock. Contact Curt @ Elmhurst Toyota. Just order a set from the NA Supra.
