Default Mobil1 ATF as power steering fluid??

Hi there. Read that some of you use Mobil1 ATF for power steering, but there was no mention of year and model of Lexus, plus there was the mention of Dexton III.
Well, my car is an '04 SC430, and it calls for Dexron or Dexron II type ATF. The stock fluid is yellowish in color, like regular power steering fluid. But the Mobil1 ATF is red, like all other ATFs. Is it safe to use on my 4.3L V8 car??
I'd do this incrementally, by the way (sucking and replenishing fluid on the reservoir), so need to know if they're compatible as well.
Thanks for your help.

Absolutely compatible, nothing wrong in using Mobil 1 instead of dexron

what about compatibility of mobil1 synthetic ATF, normal non-synthetic dexron III ATF (like mister transmission), and just power steering fluid?

and whats the differences between them? and which is best?

They are both compatible. I personally would stick with the Toyota Dexron III ATF as i have heard good things about it and the oil analysis has also been great. Either one you cant go wrong. Both are that good.
