When I bought my 94 SC400 the seller told me all the service had been preformed at the Lexus dealership. Am I right in understanding that Lexus keeps a record of the service history of a car? If so, can I get this information online or do I need to contact the dealer to see what service has been done to this car?

 

I got everything on paper that was done to my car. Lexus service writer faxed it to my work. Of course everything was in part no. and service codes. So you will need to have someone translate it for you. Get the fax then call the guy back and ask him what it means.
