I was driving from the Berkeley Hills last night and as I was going down a hill, my engine stalled. So i put the car in N, start it again to no avail. So i had to cruise down the hill with no power steering/brakes and I pulled over. I had the car towed. I started it again at home, no start. Checked the timing belt - intact. I pulled codes, and I had a code 12 and 43. Now, when I try to crank the car, the starter runs endlessly unless I release the key. I can't get a damn value from the cam sensors and the TPS. What the heck is going on?
I turned the engine to TDC, all the marks are lining up. I think I found the kicker, I pulled the engine undercover off and found the wiring harness to the crankshaft sensor that provides the Ne signals is severed by the serpentine belt, I assume the dealer the PO took it to for a TB change forgot to put the harness back into its retaining clip. I hope this is my ticket home...
The crank sensor wires need to be route behind the fan pulley bracket and behind the ac compressor. Make sure the wire don't pinch behind the ac compressor.

i did just that, and I zip-tied the upper part to the water bypass hose to keep it away from the moving belt.
