Angry

I have a 92 Es 300 and I am having problems with it overheating, I took it to the dealer and they told me it was not the head gasket or the head, and for 400 more dollars i could find out exactly what is wrong, but for that much i could do it my self. So i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about what might it be. I keep pleanty of water in the system, and i have no hoses busted. I thought about having my radiator flused and maybe that might help , but i have no clue. Please help,

Default I'm not a mechanic....

but my guess is the thermostat.

It's not sending information back to the computer to tell it to start the fan or do other things when the engine reaches a certain temperature.

I could be wrong, but worth look'in into.

I've seen many head gasket problems with that model. Without knowing what exactly the dealership checked, I don't know what to say.

Good Luck!
