Has anyone experienced Lexus service shops treating you differently if you didn't buy your car at the dealership where you're getting it serviced? OR, is there any reason to buy my IS 350 from the dealership where I'm going to service it?
I bought my car in PA because of how awful the Alexandria dealership was.
I've had my car serviced at Tom Wood Lexus in Indianapolis and Lehigh Valley Lexus in Emmaus, PA. Both were excellent.
Alexandria is subpar, despite a brand new service center. They're stingy with loaners, and lack the customer service appeal that Lexus delivers. Then again, customer service sucks everywhere in the DC area.
I don't think you'll be treated differently at other places for service.
Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of options down here.
