I just put in a new red top battery and the airbag light came on after the install.... did it reset or confuse my computer? what should I do in order to fix it? thanks all!

 

I assume this is a brand new red top.....I would remove terminals ..clean off any corrosion ....then install red (+) first...then black (-).

 

Apprently you get into this situation when ignition is turned on without the +12v battery present.
I have seen a post which talks about the process to fix this. Faint recollection is itelexual site for sc.
