Talking Trans Fluid Change on 98 ES

Just picked up the car. Its had its change of fluid recently but as preventive maintenance, im doing the flush and fill of the 2 quarts. My question is:

Can I use the Type IV for a flush and fill not knowing whats in my trans? The lexus dealer recomended using the dextron 2,3 and not to use the Type IV. I wanna mix some lucas additives as well.

Car: 98' ES

Which fluid to use for the 2 quart flush and fill:

Dextron 2,3 w/ lucas oil or BG oil additives

Type IV mix with whatever is in there and oil additive

Check the end of the orange "T" dipstick. Should be Use Type IV Toyota. Don't mix with anything else. Look for two drain plugs, pan and transaxle, 10mm hex. Expect to use 3.8 quarts rather than two quarts. Dexron is your power steering fluid. If in doubt, check your owners manuals... Before you drain the fluid, get a stain on a white sock and compare it to the fluid color after it's changed.
