Hey guys,
This question is mainly for those of you that change your own oil. I was going to put in some royal purple into my 1st gen GS300 today, but couldn’t unscrew the oil filter. Is there a trick to this in this car? I used to always change my oil myself on my integra, and this is the first time I have tried on my 95 GS. How can I get that Toyota oil filter off so I can put on my new K&N oil filter?

What filter removal tool are you using?

 

i was using an oil filter wrench that i have had for a few years, but i guess the hinge or something broke last time i used it, cuz it wasnt working this morning. no worries anymore i just barrowed a buddy of mine's oil filter wrench and it popped right off.
