Default Synthetic or MOA?

my 1995 LS is comin up to the 130,000 mile service (oil+rotation) and ive been considering a few options. i thought of switching the car to MObil 1 Synthetic but when i called LMS to get some info, they reco'd me to use regular motor oil and use BG's MOA oil additive. since il be bringing the car in ~every 5000 miles what shouldi use?

thanks,
-Annant
