Default Here is a weird one..... (overdrive switch broken)

Hey guys,
I got a weird question for ya,
I have 96 sc400,
neways to make this story short, while having my stereo system installed, my friend accidently popped out my overdrive switch, neways i brought it to toyota, they said they had to order a new one from lexus and it going to cost about 200+ dollars, now i know parts for lexus's arent cheap but aside from looks is it really worth the 200+ to get it fixed because the car run perfect, just overdrive is stuck on ON lol

I don't think I've ever used that switch myself. I'd live without it until you see a used one for sale in the SC classifieds, which will cost way less than what stealership wants.
