I am a bit confused over the operation of the rear wiper switch on the 01LX.
the manual says that rotating the switch anti-clockwise, towards the driver, will squirt the washer fluid. However I have noticed that the wipers don't turn on during this operation. In order to turn the wipers on I have to manual switch the wipers to lo/hi position, or if i want to use the washer fluid while wipers are on i have to rotate it clockwise beyond the hi setting.
can anyone pls confirm if this is normal behavior on LX.

Sounds exactly like my wife's '04 Toyota Highlander....dial it towards you and it squirts fluid, but then you have turn on the rear wiper ....makes no sense to me!
