I have parking assist on my LS430. The system has been acting strange lately. After starting the car, the Parking display appears on my NAV screen and instrument panel notifying me that there is an obstruction in front of me. I get out of the car and there is nothing there. I drove a few miles and came to a stop light, the warning appears again. No cars are around. My car is clean, no dirt or mud on the bumpers where the sensors are located...

After driving a few miles, I came to another stop and no problems... Anyone have a similar problem or can give me some advice (other that visiting the stealership for a beating)?

 

One of your sensor may damage from the debris from the road. You can walk around the front and rear bumper to see which one is damage. The best way is go to Lexus dealer and let them check it for you.
