1994 LS400 (150Kmiles) Trac Light on Instr. Brd. turns on in Dry Weather/Pavement.?
My Traction light on the Instrument Board has recently started to come on infrequently when I am in dry weather with dry pavement. Just started noticing this in the cold weather in Wash DC this winter (20 degrees to 50 degrees). Could come on when I start the car up and not go off for an hour or two and then when I stop and drive it somewhere else in the next 1/2 hour, it does not come on at all. Or could come on after Ive driven it somewhere & stopped, then it might come on when I am going somewhere else within a half hour, in dry weather conditions, but cold weather conditions? Also, seemed to notice gas mileage has decreased, could this traction sitiuation actually be on for an hour or two in dry weather and be using more gas?
Has anyone experienced this problem and can you tell me approximate cost to repair at dealer? Thanks for your help and advice.
