Specialty tools needed to remove crank shaft bolt?

The starter trick won't work on the 2jz.

why not? I did it on 2 cars, and many supra guys did it as well.

Yes, sometimes the starter trick works and sometimes it doesn't work. The crank shaft bolt tourque spec for the SC300 and GS300 call for 243 ft.lb and that's a lot.

I alway get another guy use a pry bar holding against the flywheel( opening slot on the flywheel) and a very long plumbling pipe insert on the breaker bar.
