Angry ABS light on...

My 96 Es 300 's ABS light is on someday I start the car.

Can anyone tell me what is the problem? Can I fix it by myself?
or can I just go to the workshop to do the brake work and get the light off?

How much does it cost for the dealer to fix it? I just fix the Oxygen sensor last month and pay 370 for the fixing. I don't want to pay too much.....

Could be one of a hundred things... best bet is to have the codes pulled from the ABS/TRAC computer and determine the area of the problem first.

I have the same problem with my car. The ABS and Trac lights come on the same time after one block or so....

Sounds like a speed sensor... but i could be wrong. dannyypk's problem could be deeper, as the light comes on without moving... although there may be more to the story that what was typed.
