Mobil 1 ATF fluid

I know this is might be a stupid ? but is it OK to use Dextron 3 fluid in my 93 SC300. The owners manual calls for Dextron 2. All I can find in Mobil 1 atf is Dextron 3.Thanks for the help.

bigguy SC3 - No such thing as a stupid question. The more you ask the more we learn from each other. So ask away.
Now about the dextron 3 fluid i wouldn't use it because it is not recommended by the manual. Just go to the dealer and buy the dextron 2 from the dealer. You can't go wrong with fluids from Toyota.
I'm no expert but thats what i would do.
