Need help with my keys FAST
first off, I want to avoid getting a new $250 key at all costs. I need the money for mods, not a damn key
My key's batteries are out. But problem is, the previous owner already screwed up the screw and now all of my screws can't screw the damn screw, so I can't change the battery. Now keyless isn't important to me all that much, but the main problem is the alarm. If it goes off, I'm basically screwed.
Any suggestions to to take it out?

I'd treat it like any other beaten screw head. Drill it out being careful not to go too far. With the back off, use some locking pliers and remove the remaining screws and install new ones. A hand drill will work but a drill press offers more control and stability.

The car I'm looking at buying has the same problem. Is the remote key the same as the master key?? Meaning if alarm goes off you can just put key in door. If not, how is the master key different?

An easy way to verify this is by reaching in through an open window when the system is armed and unlocking the door by hand. This will trip the alarm and then you can use the key to unlock/lock the door.
