You know, it could be something as simple as the power cable that runs out of your alternator. A lot of times when you get your alternator rebuilt, the place that does it sometimes puts a new cable in but maybe that cable is not the right gauge so you're reading low on the amperage. Try that before you go and get that crap rebuilt again. Good luck.

hey what does this cable look like? and what guage wire should it be?
It comes out the alternator. You cant tell what size wire it should be because different amperage alternators call for different amperage wire. Go look in a manual to find out where it is and what size it should be. If you dont have a manual, either call up lexus and ask for a service tech or go to the public library actually. They usually have car manuals there.
