hello, i just wanted to come to you guys to ask if you guys knew the solution to my problem. lately, i've noticed that my 92 es 300 has been leaking a lot of power steering fluid. i'll fill it up and by the next morning, i'm all out. if anyone knows what the probem is, please inform me. thanks for your time. - Jeff
Dude, get a rebuilt one from AutoZone... I called today for one and they quoted me $100. Also, crawl under the front end of your car and check out the rack and pinion unit. If it's got fresh oil on it, then you need to keep an eye on the fluid level even AFTER you replace the pump.
cheking the PS fluid levels is a must, that normally kills your R/P when you chane the PS. I use maxlife atf, and its been running without sound or restriction. lol oem PS and r/p at 185k
