Check your PS pump and look underneath the car by the right front wheel area for any sign of PS fluid.

Lexus PS pump should run you around $500.00 + labor.

Dude, get a rebuilt one from AutoZone... I called today for one and they quoted me $100. Also, crawl under the front end of your car and check out the rack and pinion unit. If it's got fresh oil on it, then you need to keep an eye on the fluid level even AFTER you replace the pump.

cheking the PS fluid levels is a must, that normally kills your R/P when you chane the PS. I use maxlife atf, and its been running without sound or restriction. lol oem PS and r/p at 185k
