Default Changing the oil

Well, i bought my lexus used with 34k miles on it, and 2k has passed. Do i need to change the oil every 3000 miles just like other cars? or is my lexus special?

The interval of oil change in a Lexus is no different than a Chrysler, Toyota, Honda, etc. Every 3,000 miles is a good number to stick by for regular conventional oil. If you plan to switch to synthetic, change the oil every 5,000 or 7,500 miles (or whatever # is stated).
