Hello All, I'm in the process of doing plugs/coils on a 08 RX350 AWD 180k which I just purchased. Since the manifold is off, I might as well do other maintenance items while it's easy enough. I took out the injectors and cleaned/flow-tested them on my Autool CT-160 then I got to thinking about the TB and Upper Manifold. I have access to a heated parts washer filled w/Oil Eater water-based solution. I'd like to soak the throttle body and manifold, would this not be a good idea? The manifold is stripped down except for the Intake Air Control Valve attached at the back left. Can I dunk it with that attached as long as I let it dry or do I need to take it off somehow? Any help would be appreciated.
