Ever since i went over a pothole the front right side of my vehicle has been strange.. When I got over a bump on the right side i hear this odd noise after the initial bump, as if something is loose. The front suspension feels very weak, the bumps vibrate the interior a lot more than they used to.. Also, when i back out of my driveway and cut the wheel hard right i feel this grinding/stopping as i go.. I suspect a problem with the alignment due to the pothole impact, and maybe a shock/strut issue, but I am no mechanic. Could anyone give me some advice on what may be causing this problem and whether itd be better to goto a local mechanic or the dealer that i bought the car from? (my warranty is up and the car has 48k miles on it) Thanks a lot.

 

The noise on the front end may cause by strut mounts. Also, check for any oil around the strut.
