Hi guys, just did an oil change on a 2012 is350. Changed the oil as usual however when I poured the old oil into a funnel with a filter this was floating around.



Anyone know where this came from?

 

Do you have a plastic oil filter housing? The black plastic bits almost look like shaved housing material from the inside of the oil filter cover. also, check in the inside of your oil filler cap. It uses a similar type of black plastic.
