how much for 45k maintence at dealer?
I am taking my LX470 to have it serviced next week. How much should a 45k mile maintence cost? I also asked them to take a look at a rattling sound I hear from my front right wheel and to check out a strange noice the engine makes at 1800rpm.
Thanks,
Robert

Too much!
I got all needed OEM parts from Carson Toyota and fluids from the local Toyota service shop for a total of $350 including the serpentine belt, brake pads for all 4 corners and the 2 HVAC filters. I did the HVAC and air filter myself and my race car mechanic (who regularly services all sorts of Japanese cars) did all the rest and more (replaced a couple of burnt bulbs and changed diff fluid with RedLine fluid) for $300.
The only thing we skipped was engine coolant. The car had a leak in late 2001 which was fixed, along with a coolant flush.
In other words, I found out that the servicing a '94 LS 400 cost me exactly as much as servicing my wife's previous car, a '99 Accord 4 cylinder! Very happy about it.
