Trying to help a friend with a 2024 LX 600 get smaller wheels. He has the stock 22" wheels with 265/50 tires. Since he drives on unpaved New Hampshire roads in inclement weather, he wants to downsize his wheels for better performance and to find reasonable winter tires. Problem is we are having difficulty finding the offset for the 22" wheels. Need the offset so we can calculate what smaller diameter wheels that fit. He wants to maintain the original offset, so no additional poke.
Will 18" wheels fit and clear the brakes with reasonable room? 19s?
Any recommendations for other Lexus or Toyota wheels?
18" with an offset of +50mm should fit without issue. The LX is available with an 18 from factory and Toyota/Lexus factory offset is typically about +55 or +50.
I haven't checked pricing but your friend could look at ordering the OEM 18s.
Yeah they are +55 I believe and the TRD pro wheels are +47. Off the top of my head.
I would just get the factory 18s at the dealer if its an Fsport or Appearance package. If not, get some silver Tundra 18 inch take offs as they are similar backspacing; Lexus centercap will fit too.
