Default 2024 LX updates?

Anyone have any updates to the 2024?
It would probably be slight if any.
Or fixes from previous, if any.

Nothing announced yet, should be closer to fall, one would think.

I read no changes at all, not even the pricing.

I noticed the rear entertainment system isn’t available on the luxury package anymore on the brochure. I’m not seeing it on the available ‘24 Luxes coming to dealers either. Makes me rethink getting the Lux instead of the premium now…I really didn’t like that archaic system. The pricing has gone up a bit too—about $800 on each level…there was a press release early summer on Lexus’ site regarding that.

Were most of the luxury models hitting the dealers with the rear entertainment package?

I looked and its not available on the premium, fsport, or luxury as an option anymore.

Every ‘23 luxury I’ve seen has the RES just like almost all the Premiums have ML stereo upgrade and Interior Pkg upgrade. I like the fact the Premiums also have the 20” tires. Hard to justify going to a luxury pricewise for soft close doors, 22” wheels, and sunshades. All Lux also seem to have AHC which I don’t understand the need for on-road driving. Unless someone can enlighten me otherwise?

If I didn’t plan to take it offroad, everything you said I agree with.

I was in the same boat when shopping the LX. I wanted the 20 inch wheels and had no need for any of the Lux upgrades considering the Premium I was offered had the ML, interior upgrade and appearance package.

But I don't offroad and barely anyone sits in the back seat.

That's how Lexus decided to package their cars. They took off the air suspension on the 1st gen GX and put it into a 2nd gen GX Luxury only.. then you need to get GX Luxury to get real leather.
For the LX they again handicapped the lower trim. The previous gen LX had AHC on all trims, they are all "base", then some luxury option for slightly more. Not 10K.
It's a case of raising the price and delivering less, then getting more out of you for the luxury when it should have been standard.

Absolutely agree. I owned a 2008 GX470 and then for a brief time 2021 GX460 and can attest to this. 08 GX470 had a navigation package that included ML stereo...now getting ML requires stepping up to Luxury trim or a $3k Premium Plus package. They even went as far as removing the passenger side mirror auto-dimming feature on GX460 starting with MY21 after having it since 2010 on all premium/lux trims! And I noticed the same crap happening on the new RX and NX! With every redesign they do, they eliminate passenger side auto-dimming mirror! Fast forward to LX, the ACH was indeed standard on all trims up until 2022 and now it is totally unavailable on Base and Premium trims and it is a stand-alone option on Lux and F-sport trims. It is however standard on Ultra-Luxury trim - one that will never see off-road use!

That being said, I did, however notice one new option available on the Ultra-Luxury trim - the new Sunflare leather color. While it was available on the UL model outside of the US in 2022 and 2023, in the US the only color choice for UL trim was black. You can now spec this beautiful orange leather on the 2024 UL model year in US. It should be available at least on the Luxury trim too IMHO.
